How much does it cost to narrow a rear 2"?

If I have a 9" rear that will fit a 67, how much would it run me to have a shop narrow it for a 66? 58.25-56.25...

I spent something like $150 to have my rear end narrowed.

i spent $150 also to have just the housing narrowed, that was a front dana 44 though, i think he did 9"s for less

My bud does them for 120 bucks and you can reuse your 8" axles if they are good, just replace the bearings.

if you are considering running late model wheels, you can keep that width. and run 5.75" BS
