After putting the O/R X pipe on this 96 GT I'm seeing a white/grey puff of exhaust gas when accelerating normally from a stop. If I'm at a red-light, sitting still for a minute or two, or in bumper-to-bumper traffic, and I give it gas, it blows out what looks like smokey exhaust gas, but thats the only time I see it. When the car is idling I don't see any exhaust...when revving in nuetral I don't see any exhaust gas. Its like the gas is just building up in the pipes while sitting still, and when the engine is put under load the gas in the pipe is accelerated, pushing it out in a small cloud all at once. Any ideas? Does anyone else notice the same thing with their car after an o/r pipe? One of my 95's was this way, but I don't remember it being this noticeable.
I dont know about that. I've had people tell me that when I get on it in front of them, they can see a fog coming from the rear. I'm sure it's just fuel. The car now smells more like a lawnmower when its runin.
and there was a ton of white smoke.. I thought something was ****ed up because I had been too hard on my car
