After putting the O/R X pipe on this 96 GT I'm seeing a white/grey puff of exhaust gas when accelerating normally from a stop. If I'm at a red-light, sitting still for a minute or two, or in bumper-to-bumper traffic, and I give it gas, it blows out what looks like smokey exhaust gas, but thats the only time I see it. When the car is idling I don't see any exhaust...when revving in nuetral I don't see any exhaust gas. Its like the gas is just building up in the pipes while sitting still, and when the engine is put under load the gas in the pipe is accelerated, pushing it out in a small cloud all at once. Any ideas? Does anyone else notice the same thing with their car after an o/r pipe? One of my 95's was this way, but I don't remember it being this noticeable.

check out the video when i start the car up...does it look like that? http://www.csledd.com/stangnet/magnapacksoffroadxpipe.MOV

If it does ive been told it could be one of two things, either unspent fuel or burnt oil. I have got to say that mine is unburnt fuel because i smell it all the time (does that mean im running too rich? dont wanna hijack the thread though). Mine does alot too, but i think that is part of running basically straight pipes without a tune. I am fairly new at working with cars, so don't quote me on it, and if I am wrong please someone correct me...its the only way to learn!!

I would see smoke in mine for at least two weeks after installing the midpipe.

I only had SOME smoke the day after I put them on but it was the interior of the pipes burning off.

Mine does that, only when I've set at the stop idling for a few minutes, it comes out blue, from burning the oil I dont know about that. I've had people tell me that when I get on it in front of them, they can see a fog coming from the rear. I'm sure it's just fuel. The car now smells more like a lawnmower when its runin.

I've had my exhaust on for 2 weeks, took about 5 days for the ses light to pop up (i didn't get mils eliminators or o2 simulators for my rear o2 sensors). I smoke A LOT. It's white smoke that I only notice while sitting at a light (how could you notice it while driving anyways?) Think it has anything to do with the fact my o2 sensors are like "WTF!!1!!1111!" lol. I'm going to be buying o2 simulators this week, but I was curious if I should be checking something else also? I had been driving for a good 20 minutes and I parked, reved it up for someone.. well I reved it WAY harder than I should have.. and there was a ton of white smoke.. I thought something was ****ed up because I had been too hard on my car
