i bought an engine from www.cobraengines.com
im very happy with it its beautiful and very strong
i got 355 hp fuel injected turnkey engine
so its got 24lb injectors e303 comp cam, e-brock intake, e-brock performer heads, 70mm throttlebody and i put on bbk ceramic headers 73mm c&j maf, a 3core aluminum radiator, and a shift kit in my aod. a b&m torque converter with 2000 stall, also flowmaster cat back. i ws wondering what kind of rwhp i am running?? if the enige is 355hp from the builder. they real do a nice job i had a engine builder/mechanic install it and he loved thier work. im planning on putting the gears but cant figure out from forum what gears 3.55 or 3.73? i plan on next spring putting on a supercharger. but not sure yet, also is the e303 cam work good with superchargers?

to calculate your D/T losses the standard rule of thumb is 15% for automatics and 10% for manual transmissions. For an AOD, i'd use more like 20% to be honest and that would give you a RWHP (from your 355HP @ the Fly wheel) down to 295 or so at the wheels.

The E cam is commonly refered to as the blower cam. If you really want to super charge your motor then stick with a lower gear. That will be up to you, depending on the amount of highway time you see and the amount of track time your car will see...

E cam is a decent cam..but 20yr old technology..if I was going to run your combo with a blower the Ecam combined with an auto would not be my first choice. As for gear selection..if your going to slap on a blower I'd not go any lower than 3.73 or maybe even 3.55..if running N/A I'd look at the 4.10.

i believe ill be going with the 3.73 with my setup and see how i like it then this spring put on the supercharger and i should be able to run decent. its only a daily driver that i like to get down on on the street work is only 2 miles or so away
and i drive on highway but not too much
