How much HP can you get out of an N/A 99+ 4.6??

Hey guys i am debating on either going blower or N/A. I am leaning towards blower but going N/A seems to be a lot safer. I want to know how much HP can you get All Motor. I am not going to be using ET streets or 4.10's.....I am going with a 3.73 gear and nitto dr's.

With heads, cams and labor, your pretty close to the price of a s/c. Not to mention you'd still have more power with the charger and the ability to go higher.

Hell I'll be happy if my N/A can reach 300 rwhp. Run til it blows.. then it's blower time

you'll never make as much power na as u can with a blower....with a pretty much stock car and an intercooled blower setup and tune u can make close to 400rwhp....NA ur looking at a maximum of ~320rwhp with the stock bottom and a sick NA combo for worked heads, aftermarket intake, NA cams and all the bolt ons plus a killer tune...u could go with ahigh compression bottom end with flat tops or even with a stroker if u wanna get real crazy but ur still not gonna make more than high 300s and it would cost u an assload of cash....if ur looking for a pretty safe fast car i would just go with some basic boltons and a blower setup and then get a tune...u should be fine as long as u dont go more than 390-400rwhp

VT is making great numbers with their cams on stock Gt's. Hell they just tested a stock GT with flowmaster muffs, VT stage II cams and comp valve springs....they ran a baseline of the GT before the cams at 236 rwhp.....they gained 29rwhp and 9-10ft lbs....with just the cams...a stock headed GT with bolt ons and cams can make around 285-290 at the wheels with a tune. Lots of potential.

If you have the money you can go pretty high. Depends on your funds.

Get a stroker, stage 3 heads, HIGH compression, big cams, sheetmetal intake. There really isnt a limit if you have the cash.

The normal guy can shoot for 300-350 rwhp though. Even 350 can be very expensive.

Remember though a properly tuned and built forced induction car can run for 100,000 miles and have more power and be cheaper to build and easier to live with.
