You should easily get to 400 flywheel hp with that mod list. RWHP will likely be at least 340 if you have a manual transmission, or about 320 with an automatic.

That depends heavily on the heads and cams used. Most people with Heads and cams and all the bolt ons are seeing 360 at the wheels (manual cars). Some with better packages are seeing 380. Some with just basic ported heads and mild NA cams are seeing 340. Just depends on which setup you use. Which LTs, the macs?

I have not heard of anyone getting to 400 RWHP without the book being thrown at it. Basically one of the new intake manifolds. That is really the upper limit of what's achievable on the stock shortblock, you'd need higher compression or more displacement to get much more.

I've only heard so-so things about the FRPP CNC heads (if those are the ones you have or are thinking of getting). And the FRPP cams aren't the most aggressive and wont give the most power.

I'd suggest getting the Livernois and a more aggressive cam profile if you want to go all out with a 281 N/A motor.

If you are wanting 400 RWHP N/A you need:

- Minimum Stg 3 Cam
- Livernois Cam Phaser Limiters
- Stage 3 P&P heads
- New built engine with 11:1 Compression ratio
- ARH or KOOKS LT headers with X-pipe( Cats optional )
- C&L Racer CAI
- CMCV deletes
- UDPs
- Meziere Electric Water Pump
- GT500 TB
- Aggressive Tune on 93 Octane fuel
- Aluminum Flywheel
- Aluminum 1 piece Driveshaft

These above mentioned mods have gotten the 4.6L 3V to 406 - 419 RWHP on 5 spd standard cars. You are looking at about $10,000.00 for a combo something like this. No Auto N/A 3V has achieved 400 RWHP N/A yet.

With the mod list you presented, you should be in the 340 RWHP with an auto 355 RWHP with a standard.

Stock Auto 3V makes about 240 RWHP, so getting to 400 RWHP would be quite an accomplishment (160 RWHP improvement).

I have a mild, non-intercooled Vortech V2 supercharger on my 07 GT automatic and I'm not even close to 400 RWHP (351 RWHP on a Mustang Chassis Dyno).

You'd make a lot more power with a better cam than the FRPP. But you don't need all that TGJ listed. There's a member on Moddedmustangs that made like 406, with I think stage 2 livernoise heads and stage 2 SPR comp cams. He had pretty much every bolt on still, but did not have an electric water pump or aluminum driveshaft. He did, however, use a $2000 one off JPC intake manifold.

Even so, to have 400 rwhp with a tiny engine like this, it will be at a very high RPM, and be very peaky and low on bottom-end torque. There's simply not enough displacement. If it's a race car, then fine, but if it's a street car you'll want to go with a stroker kit to get some more cubes, or forced induction. The FI would be cheaper probably.

Like Urban said

This is from a guy on another forum with
JPC intake
comp 127500 cams 535in 550 exhuast 229/236 @50 112lsa
livernios stage II heads
Kooks long tube headers x pipe
steeda cai with CF inlet
steeda UD's
steeda race delete plates
Stock drivershaft/flyweel/18inch rims/4.10s

He did have to rev it to 7k to get those numbers though, but still made over 360 ft-lb, which is very respectable. I think the intake is key to allow the engine to breath up to 7k, now imagine this setup with the stage III heads, a bored and stroked block (323ci) and 11/1 compression, that might make 500 RWHP.

That is a lot of parts, work, and money...why not just put on a supercharger and make 380-400 for sure? Takes a day and a half and you can do it all yourself except the tune.

That's alot of stuff at once. It might be more enjoyable to do a thing or 2 at a time to see what you get each step. That's how I'm doing it and it's been fun at the track seeing real simple things improve the car. Either way good luck
