how much is a rebuilt c4 tranny worth??

does anybody know about how much rebuilt c4's go for, theres one i might buy for 200 with a new torque converter, and if its worth more than than i'll buy it and sell it and make some money for the tremec i need. Thanks guys

A rebuild kit and a new convertor would cost that much. Problem is that people don't want to buy rebuilt trannys without a warranty because they don't know the quality of work done on them.

FWIW, I purchased a rebuilt C4, from a reputable mechanic, 10 years ago for $200.
