How much would you guys say my car is worth? It is a 1993 ssp car with 300/325 hp/tq...it has all the best suspension goodies and has run 12.3s at 110 on slicks thanks to some great driving by its previous owner..the engine combo is ported gt40s, ported cobra intake, and a comp cam...she is in great shape with 133,000 on the ticker...the only issue is that she needs a new oil pump and oil pan gasket...

New oil pump? Did the oil pump driveshaft break? Sounds like either way, its gonna need a rebuild. How much are you looking at? Perhaps you should PM me with a number for price:nice:

I am currently unsure of the extent of the damage but yes a rebuild is in order and I dont know how much I want for it I wanna know how much she is worth at this point...

The winter is not the time to maximize your price. In this area, it would likely draw $1,500. to $2,000. -if the body and paint were excellent. If it runs, you could get a little more.

wow that seems really low especially since this car runs awesome while it is running but upon startup and at idle it has pressure issues...but other than that you would think it was a healthy pony..I was thinking like 5k because it will only run 1500 to fix and I would say a healthy fox that runs 12s should catch at least 6500...

It just depends. Mainly, its a matter of not Worth, but worth to the individual looking for a Fox.

Look at my old Saleen bodied Supercharged 351 car, its going for $5800 with no issues but needing a good tune. Its just a bad time of the year to sell a car, and you are targeting a specific crowd at that.

$1500 to fix. No disrespect, but there are many things that would need or could use being replaced when in there. Example, with that mileage, new water pump, oil pump and oil pump driveshaft, gaskets for heads, intake, etc. I would think that number would be closer to $2500 for repairs and thats if your doing much of the work yourself. PM sent to you

ive seen lots of moded foxs for that 5500-6000 range with similar mods to what you have i was just saying 3 for the stock lx ones. and if i were to buy the car and did the work my self like i would it would cost me about 800$ maybe but thats just me and what i would do to it. wounder if keith would be interested in the car hmmm dont know hmmm

Mine runs 12's, gets 23 mpg, has 75K original, and has excellent body and paint; and I didn't get my $5,400 asking price. I still have the car. I think the market is softer than you think.

Yeah, I bought my dead stock 88 LX a couple years back for 1,500, running great, with pretty good paint, body, and interior.

foxes are cheap and that is part of the reason we love them
