ok sure this has been asked but lets do it one more time for good mesure

i have a nitrous allready NX wet kit, i would like to install it on the 5.0

But im still learning the motor ect...So what a "safe" nitrousn shot...can it handle 100shot, 125shot.

how much should i tweak my timing and fuel pressure pending the amount of nitrous.

Stop at 100hp and read those plugs after you make a WOT run.

keep it conservative... remember you have hyperutectic pistons

With a good tune, the block will fail long before the pistons.

its good to keep it around the 100 hp number. mind you i dont have forged pistons and i run 150hp shot. maybe i'm flirting with disaster. just remember to put lots of extra fuel in with the NOS

1 more thing don't forget to take 4 degrees out of your timing if you run 100hp shot. 2 degrees for every 50 hp shot is a good rule to live by

LOL I put said NX kit in an 90 bonneville with a 3800 and 160000 miles... took the 100 shot no problem.. didnt't knock any more than it did before we started on the bottle. Fact is those jets run super rich if you go by their jetting. 100 - 150 should be no problem but as mentioned above pull some timing...
