About how much time do you spend working on your mustang a week? Along with making lists, going on here, ordering parts, working so he can buy parts, and working on his mustang, my ex-boyfriend had no other time for me. I'm wondering if i wasn't understanding enough or he's just obsessed. Thanks in advance to everyone who answers!

he's obsessed, you need someone who makes time for YOU, not his car. I come on here a few hours a week, I rarely spend time working on my car these days, only when I have spare time, or something breaks.

to much time lady. Luckily my wife is understanding, and knows that I have to have a hobby. Mustangs are it. I'll admit that I spend alot of money on my car, but that is all that I spend money on, next to beer of course :nice: Women have to understand that guys will do what they like, with or without you. You can't be jealous over a piece of machinery. I told my wife like this "the mustang was around before you, and it'll be around after you're gone" if things were to wind up like that. She knows what I'm saying. I think you just have to understand man and machinery....especially the "MUSTANG" it's a  ness.

Uh oh....
Seems like foxy lady is a stalker. She signed up to keeps tabs on her man,who is also a member here, and she really doesn't give a crap about mustangs, or what this site is really about anyway. Lady all I can say is please don't get anyone involved in your "love-life" problems. Those things should be handled maturely face to face, with the person that the problems exist with. Ya follow???

Well...when its broke.....alot, In fact a nieghbor the other day came up to me and said "Im impressed,I actually got to see your car in the garage for the first time without the hood up. :)

:stupid: now im scared we all could be getting stalked.., i always tell the GF who calls it my real girlfriend that every penny i invest in the car is worth it. And that the car is just as temprementle as a woman, once a month its bound to do something that you just cant explain, I dont just give up on you, why would i give up on my car. It takes work and its exiting when you hit the gas and life stops and speed is all there is...

Well I'm sorry if I came across as a harda$$. Do you love your man? If so go get him back. If he loves you too, then you guys can compromise, and make things work. Don't be jealous over a f**king car, that's just silly. You may not think so, but I'm sure he loves you as much, if not more than his car. You don't spend 2 years of your life with someone, and not care about them :nice:

Unless there is a woman laying under my car then I will be single for quite a while. That answer your question?

I concur. I'm single, i know tons of my buddies spend hundreds on their girlfriends. Whenever i hear a story about that happening, I keep thinking..."Man i could have bought a shifter" Or "That would be just enough for a cobra intake"

I spend a lot of time doing something Mustang related. It's a part of who i am and nothing is gonna change that....not even a girl. For most of us on these boards, Mustangs are a way of life.

But, if a girl shows an interest in Mustangs with me...it makes me a hell of a lot more interested in her if ya know what I mean.

Thanks for all the advice guys. And he doesn't spend any money on me because he thinks of what parts he can buy. Also, I have tried to be interested in his car. He tells me stuff all the time and I listen and try to understand but he goes into such detail I get lost. I've even helped him with his car, things I can do like taking the interior out, sanding his body kit, change his oil, redo spark plugs or something i don't even remember. I've tried to take interest in it and I've learned a lot. I need a book for it like Mustangs for dummies. I'm even making him a scrapbook of him re-doing the whole thing. I don't even know where i was going with this. oh well. btw if anyone can teach me anything simple. I'd be willing to listen.
