How much will gears change my MPG?

I have a 90 GT and i am planning on putting in a set of 3.73's or 3.55's. how much will it affect my MPG. right now i have the stock 2.73's and i get around 23-25 mpg.

ive heard some guys gettng better millage. all depends on how heavy your foot is

well with 2.73's i was getting around 27 hwy, dunno city. with 3.73's i get a bout 25 hwy and can get around 200 miles to the tank in the city. sometime more some times less. this was with stock motor.

Your gas mileage will improve with the extra torque now if you can keep your foot out of it. But highway, yes it will decrease. Its a bit of a trade off if u ask me.

I got a little better in the city and a little worse on the highway. If you do mostly city driving (stop and go like most of us do) your mileage will be about the same or maybe a little better. Overall, mileage was not affected much. I have 3.73's. Money well spent in my opinion. SOTP feel is amazing!

i had some 4.10's back in the day.....talk about get up and go.....................didnt even need to use 1st......loved em but im blown now so im gonna stick in some 3.55's.....

I've also seen mileage increases in some situations or staying about the same overall.

Just get em and cross the gas mileage bridge when you get there LOL.
I get up to 23 mpg on the hwy.

man 23mgp sounds great i remeber those days..................boy do i miss them. i go by FPG feet per gallon............

My city milage went up from about 12-14 to about 16...and my highway milage went down from about 26 to 22...get em! there is no beter mod for the $$
