my turbo isnt runnin to good right now. It runs rough as hell and smokes bad at some points( go wot in neautral then let of real quick and it blows smoke everywhere but it doesnt do it unless u go wot) I was thinkin about gettin the turbo rebuilt and rebuilding the head. The turbo i want done by someone who knows what there doing. I think i could handle the head no problem. How much for the rebuild kit for the head and for someone to do the turbo? J/W ballpark ranges will work im just tryin to get an idea of how much. Thanks

How are you going to rebuild a head on your own? The only thing you can do without special tools is replace the valve stem seals...

What kind of turbo? Stock rebuild, hybrid, gt series?

Also, you should fix the "runs rough as hell" before wasting your money trying to fix it with a new turbo and rebuilt head...

They sell the "inside" of the turbo is your goin to rebuild yours.... or you can just order the parts you need if You are just wanting to change things to be sure.... but if Your goin to Rebuild you should go on and buy an T3/T4 hybrid..... i wish i would have instead of rebuilding my stock turbo "IHI" ... Yeah you cant really "RE-DO" your head with out a real mech working on it.... i would take it to a machine shop and have it redone ... my freind is takin his talon motor and having it machined and new pistons put in bored over 20 and new vavles ... for around 400 but thats without reassmebly ...
