How to adjust clutch Pedal not cable

A few years ago when I had my 03 a ford mechanic was just looking at my car and asked me if i wanted my pedal adjusted to make it not feel so long. Kinda hard to explain but those of you who have had it done you know what i'm talking about. Anyways I dont know how or where to adjust this pedal but i know its down there around the clutch pedal. Thanks

they are self adjusting. so just pull the clutch pedal up towards you. you usually will hear a pop when your doing a clutch job. you might not hear or feel anything if theres no slack for the adjustment to reset.

Can't do it without a cable adjuster.

WHat the mechanic meant was adjust it to compensate for wear. You are supposed to do this every 10K miles. Grab the pedal and pull upwards firmly. Then push it to the floor as far as it will go. If it clicks it adjusted.

You are gonna need aftermarket parts to adjust pedal throw and engagement point
