actually if i find the slip ill post it, but i got no need to lie my best to date is 13.2 at 105 with d/r's powershifting at 6k i got multiple people witness to me staying right next to him from 10-100.
Im sure it would be a close race but he should start walking away from you...especially in a 6 speed one.
They usually trap like 105 and run low 13s bone stock with the 6 speed.
Sorry man...you run high 13s at 101 mph where as he runs low 13s if not better at like 105...he cants drive if he didnt pull away from you.

I hate these threads. LS1 guys tend to be more open minded about Mustangs than Mustang guys are on the LS1.
Every LS1 owner I have ever met has been closed minded. Even me when I had my 99 FRC, I said no way a Mustang could outrun meI have outrun many LT1s and a couple LS1, and I know it was more luck and driving than having more power. I have 299.8rwhp so I have about the same HP with alot less torque. Yeah we all want to smoke LSX all the time and most of the people on here are smart enough to know we cant without big HP upgrades or excellent driving skills.
I have noticed anytime someone brings up this subject you are the only one that gets bent out of shape about it. Im not trying to flame you and I do respect your point of view because you do own both, but dont take it personal and always praise how wonderful the LSX bords are with more intelligent and open minded people.
yeah, ill admit LS1 boards are pretty respectful of 03/04 cobras
but from there down to n/a cobras to GT's it's a hairy path of ignorance

Ok you are talking in person. I am talking in the community whether it be in person(even though some of the guys in our F-body club also have Mustangs and our local club exclusively uses a Mustang shop to dyno our cars) or on the internet. Not to mention one of the biggest LS1 sites has Mustang owners as moderators and generally respect mustangs. I have seen a few threads where they were bashed and the LS1 guys defended them. I am also on a few other F-Body sites where they have an open mind.
Because I get ****ing tired of the

When you try to tell them that the LS1 cars can run 12's stock and possibly beat a non driver, you get BS flags.
"LS1's make more hp than whats they are rated for?BS, I never seen this"
When you show them proof, they show their ass by saying how a Mach 1 is the same as a 99/01 Cobra but with a solid axle, or say well the 4.6 has more hp/liter than a LS1 as if that means any damn thing in a race
"The LS1 will always make more hp bolt on for bolt on verse the 4.6"
Then they come up with the Cobra R motor in a 4.6L debate
They **** gets old. You try to educate them and all the Mustang kids do is flame even more and look like an asses. At least most of my F-Body buddies ask about a Mustang and what they are capable of. Some of us are like ricers that know jack ***** about the cars, but try to pretend they do and really look like fools. So now I just tend to not offer advice or give out the wrong info on purpose and just laugh
