I was driving into a gas station to fill up the tank. A car was on my left and out of nowhere, I heard a bid noise from the right of my car. I was on a freakin sidewalk and kept going.
When I checked for the damage, I found out the my entire fender had shifted up by half an inch and now the passenger door rubs against it when I try to open it. I was devasted because I got my car about only 2 months ago.
I did already get an estimate to fix it and the guy said it was no big deal and would cost $75 to realign it.
My question is that as a consequence of this incident, I made a little scratch in my right front chrome rim. The chrome layer immediately peeled off. How can I make sure this doesn't spread more? Can I use some aluminum epoxy of some sort.
Thanks alot.
