how to get 300rwhp out of '02 GT

Lowers the operating Temp...supposedly good for about 2HP. In the cool, and with the heater on (really cold it doesnt matter), my gauge is noticable cooler. I know when my gauge is about right there I gained 1 MPH at the track. That was after a 45 min cool down, so im sure that gain was due to other factors as well. My time in sig was HOTLAPPING BTW, cool down didnt help trap that night when I tried it....but there was alot of traffic and it was about/at full temp by the time I ran it(107.X trap i think). And I wouldnt go below a 180*...suppedly any cooler than 180 and the EEC pulls timing.

Well I don't know, but personally I couldn't stand ripping into a motor to put new cams in to then rebuild and be slightly dissapointed by the dyno numbers. If I was doing it, and after hitting such a target I would have to get a better set of heads of port & polish the stock ones.Maybe add bigger valves (not really sure what options are out there as I've never researched it). But on a n/a engine the heads are very important and I'd spend as much as I could on them, especially as the 4.6 2v isn't the best platform for an n/a build up.

I wouldn't be so surprised by 330 Crank HP. The Full SLP exhaust can give about 30 rwhp. Pulleys free up about 10 rwhp. High flow air filter makes about 10 rwhp. A tune would be good for about 15 rwhp.All this on a stock GT individually. Total that up is about 65 rwhp total. I know that in conjunction with each other they won't put out 65 rwhp increase but more like 55-60rwhp under ideal air conditions (like an air conditioned dyno room with controlled humidity and barometric pressure, as well as Sea Level correction) which would put the total right around 70 Crank HP. Voila 330 crank hp. I could see it. That with some 262AH Comp Cams and springs and you should easily make 300 rwhp...
I agree with most of what you said except the air filter....I doubt there is a high flow filter in existence that make 10 bhp on a 4.6, let alone 10 rwhp.
