Ok, I figured that with the upcoming supercharger, the stock ignition i'm using now just isn't going to hack it. How should I upgrade the ignition? I could go with an MSD 6AL and their TFI coil, but will just one or the other provide enough spark or do I need both? Thanks.

The TFI module isnt something that's 'strong' or 'weak' like ignition coils. It's merely a messenger for the signal to fire.

A nice box (the brand you chose would not be my choice but that's totally personal) with a fresh ignition coil would likely take care of your needs.

Good luck.

An ignition box and a stronger coil certainly won't hurt things. I know alot guys on here run the MSD box and coil on their cars with no issues, but at the same time I have heard hundreds of horror stories about their coils failing. I don't however recall hearing anything bad about the Mallory ignition systems. Accel seems to be another good choice, I just don't like their colors that much, haha

My choice would be Crane for a box. Again, totally a personal thing.

Stephane's thoughts are just as valid - I just don't have experience with those brands. Because you are going to be forced induction, really scope the boxes out to ensure they have all the features you want, or can grow with your needs.

Good luck.

get the mallory VI-al. also get a coil.

my car was having spark blowout at 10psi before.

It also has a revlimiter so you wont go lean when you hit the stock rev.

These coils actually send a higher voltage to the primary side of the coil which results in a higher output
