How to go 11's?

Okay heres the deal, I have a 2004 GT with pulleys, chip, exhaust and little bolt-ons. I wanna go 11's. I know with what I have now plus a 100 shot and 4.10s and tire I can go 12.30-12.40's. Im scared to run more than 100 shot through my motor. Any help would be great, I really wanna go 11's

I think you can get away with a 125 shot if ya have it tuned

Mongoose kit and slicks. Somebody (forget who) ran mid 11's with a completely stock car with the exception of a base mongoose kit and slicks. Launched the car at 6k RPM just dumping the clutch and it held up fine hahaha

Same here. But, I do think you should look into a turbo kit or supercharger. Whatever you do you will need weight reduction, supspension work, and some slicks to get into the 11's with ease. A stock block in running in the 11's is a ticking time bomb though.

03-04 Cobras run mid to low 13s and they have 390hp/tq.
Every bolt on, gears, cams, 150 shot, good tune, slicks might get you there. be prepared to break something.

i see stock ones running mid to high 12's all day. Cobras that is

I might be completely wrong, but I think if you do it right, you could hit 11's on the stock bottom end, if you so choose. ALOT of suspension, a solid rear end to take the shockload, and some gears (if staying NA)...atleast 4.10's. IMO this should be easier than you think with just some slicks and a blower, but in the end its just going to take some very hard launches and the rear end is going to take a beating.

Do you run at MIR? Lucky for you, thats a pretty nice track and from what I hear, it hooks up nice and its pretty low in elevation, which should help your times.

If you see Cobra's running 13's then the drivers suck ass. Those are stock Mach1 times and those hp/tq #'s are way under rated from the factory. It's more like 380rwhp/380rwtq. I saw Terminators run those #'s all day long on the dyno's at Ford back in 01/02

I got nitrous, but i can't afford the blower right now. The rear, yea I can do that and suspension. I was thinking a 255in tank pump, 4.30 or 4.56 gears and a 150 shot?, Maybe......

I find this very hard to believe If you thinking of MDValdosta (spell?)he has aftermarket cams and has ran 11.4's I think

BTW...11's are quite possible with a 100 shot if the car is set up properly
