I am now doing the exact same install as you. I ran into a little trouble after cutting up the fan. I placed the fan into the shroud where I thought the bolts would could be placed. To my surprise the fan hit the pulley. When I placed it back into the shroud I had an area where it was hollow and no bolts could be placed. I think I will have to fab a piece of metal and reinforcement brackets to put in that area. I pm'd the author of the e-fan stickey for advice. Have you run into that yet? Oh, my car is a 1990 and his is a early modle possibly a 84 or 85 and the shrouds are completely different which causes the problems.
