How to Make Fogs work with low and hi beams on newer Stangs

Hey, I am just having fun with you. It's funny how two people can read the same thing and come to completely different conclusion.

The thing is, though, the feds make these rules and the states just ditto the feds. When it comes to lights, there are tons of statements about heights, distances, brightness etc...and even colors of lights. This way, the state of PA can not suddenly say that they want headlights to be green instead of white. This way there is uniformity between states.

Wait and see and they will make HID's against the law because they ruin the uniformity of the lighting on the highway. It is important for the driver to be able to look at a car and know at a quick glance the exact aspect of the car. If lights were not uniform, you could not tell this.

I don't have a high beam option anymore ever since installing the HID kit for my stang....I guess it doesn't matter since the HIDs are nice and bright

You know what is REALLY funny?
Mustangs don't have Fog lights, they have driving lights. The lights we have DON'T cut through fog at all, they are not designed to.

I call BS on that! It's as plain as day....you can only use them with low beams. That would mean, you can only use them with low beams.

First you are contradicting your self in your statement, Second I give out the tickets so I know what I'm talking about.
It depends on your state, some are plain as day, others read between the lines, like Florida. Come to traffic court here some time and you will see what I mean.
I'd take your $10.00 bucks but with your reasoning you'll probably need it for your next court appearance! ,,, hey just having fun..........

I can't believe there are laws for some 37.5 watt lights on our cars that do absolutely nothing.

I am doing this tonight before I go out , nice MOD in my opinion , screw the laws they are BS ..IMO ..... as for the 37.5 watts , replacement bulb for my car was a 899 38 watts ..... just put in two 885 bulbs which are 50 watts .... they always looked yellow before compared to the headlights ..... now all four lights up front look nice and white .....

Sweet!

Just went out in the garage and did this. Very quick and easy (although it wasn't fun trying to getting the top off the box with my strut brace in the way).

Never knew these went off on high beams.

I'd hate to bring this post back from the dead, but the picture jdraper originally posted is no longer viewable. I'm interested in following his instructions, but I'm not sure which pin to remove. I think pin 3 on the relay is it, but I'd like to be sure before I take it off.

Pretty neat trick....but why would you do that? Noone really gets to see the car with the brights on anyways .
