how to properly install clutch fork

I was wondering how you guys put your clutch forks on your t5's. It seems with the pivot ball in place you have to bend the tangs too much to get it to slide over. Is this not the correct way to do it? What about installed the pivot ball in the fork and then just threading it in???

opinions?

?? bend?? the tabs slight right over the pivot ball with ease, even on a new fork

i know what ya mean but it just seems bad for the tabs to have to bend that much

Bend tabs? The tabs just keep it in place until you get the TOB in place and get it under tension of the cable. The pivot ball just rests in the cup. Shouldn't go in too far
