Im getting ready to do a little project for today but am not sure how to get started. I need to remove the the center console part where there is the little storage area with the power outlet in it. How do I remove this part.

Once its removed Im going to lower the hole for the power outlet so I can keep my FM transmitter in there for my IPod.

It is in the Haynes manual. Do you have one? What are you trying to do, remove the electrical connector from the back of the lighter or remove the lighter housing from the trim piece that it is mounted in?

Let's see those pictures! I have my Ipod in my stang and I love it. How are you holding your Ipod? I've got mine in like a cup holder thing that screws up and down to adjust for height. I'm thinking of painting it black to match my interior.
Sorry to drag that out...pictures please!

Well I bought this piece from Best Buy that came in Black or White for $80. I bought black since that is what my interior is. It came with all these different mounts to plug into your power outlet. It was a pain to get it into the armrest area but after I cut a hole for the power outlet it looks awsome and looks like its just floating.
