How to remove fog lights?

I just put new headlights on and my old stock foged out fogs look bad. How do I take them out?

Damn, it's been awhile, I hope I remember right. First, you don't need to remove the bumper. Others will recommend it, I'm just saying you don't have to. There are three screws holding the fog light housing to the bumper. Two are easy to remove, as you can see them. One is hidden, remove it by feel.

Lot easier if you remove the bumper but if not, 1 under the bumper cover and 2 you can reach from inside the bumper cover. But like mention before, you ll have to get it by feel.

Also, they are torx screw so easy to get a hold on them without seeing

Actually an easier way it to take out the phillips screw out. It is at the front of the light and then you will see that the light swivels up and down. it should then pop out with a little force.

i tried this and wouldn't really recommend it... too much risk of popping one of the pegs off the light... i would say just take the bumper cover off and undo the 3 screws holding it in.. easy stuff.

I tried to install my clear ones w/o removing the bumper and chewed up my knuckles in the process.

The bumper comes off with relative ease. I would recommend you do it this way instead, and your knuckles will thank you later.

I changed mine with the bumper on in the driveway. I had no issues, just had to work on the ground.

I had no choice. One of the screws got stripped but I found that they went in and out very easy.

There should be three 20 or 25 torx screws holding each one in.


Removing the bumper seems like overkill, like dropping the oil pan to change the oil, but i could be wrong

10-4, yeah I got it backwards, one visible and two hidden. Removing them wasn't too hard.

Just jack the car up in the air and remove the 3 screws and you will be fine.
