Hello :SNSign: . I need your opinions on what I should do to good ole #5561. I am getting a sales goal bonus at work and I am ready to spend $1000 of it on some rims. I'm thinking the Anthracite Bullitts 17x10.5 and 17x9 will look sick and keep the "Bullittness" (dont hate on bullitts in this thread). Also I am going to get two new rear tires. I am lowered on Sportlines and I dont want any rubbing issues. What do you guys recommend I do? What company should I order from? What size tires (rear only)? I have 4 almost new 275/40/17's and want to keep those up front on the 17x9 and get two new rear tires. I want the tires to look good with the 275/40/17's that I already have so... what would be the best tire to keep the sidewall and tire bulge looking similar. Let me know. Also I got an iPod for christmas and want to know a good way to integrate it. I already have Sirius and Navigation so I want to make it a suttle install, maybe in the glove box. Headunit? FM transmitter? My dash and console have screens everywhere so give me some ideas. Or should I go in another direction? I cant afford drag racing and the repairs so performance mods are out. Thanks for the help :SNSign:ers

Here are some pictures to show you the lowering and current tires and wheels.

no performance mods cuz of repairs huh? well okay, maybe some shock/struts while you have the wheels off cuz you already got springs and that's adding extra strain. Though many still dont do it. You're going to meed 315's in the back w/ a 10.5" rim. But firstly, why do you need 315's if ur not running it at the track and you don't wanna go performance? 10.5's shouldn't be an appearence mod, it's for traction. If you buy it for looks all you get is more expensive flats. If you do go 10.5, maybe try some 18x315's in the back to give it a nice stance. BTW ur not going to find too mant 10.5 bullit rims that will directly match the color of your fronts. GL:nice:

I am getting all 4 rims, I know they dont match the stockers, I am getting the 10.5 because of the deep dish and the looks of them, the traction is a plus, cuz i do like to "drive" it

Also, i meant that I cant afford drag racing or the repairs that come along with drag racing.

x2. Slap an X pipe on with those Borla's and watch a tear come to your eye.

 That's pretty much what happened when I started up my Borla's with the prochamber. :D

bullit- I'm here in ca, where I can't pass with anything but the stock midpipe, so I just have to switch it out for my off road one every two years, I personally think the work involved is definitely worth the bark that no cats gives, and the turning heads. :D Or you could go with a catted pipe, but if you really want the rims, then go for it. With 17x10.5" i'd do 315's on the rear, and with 9's on the front i'd do 265's.

I got a Belkin FM modulator for my 2nd gen Nano for Xmas. I sounds "OK" but here is the preferable way to integrate it, assuming you're keeping the stock stereo:

Neo Ion interface

It's a little pricey, but it's a "true" interface and you won't get any static out of it.

Don't go with anything larger than a 35 series tire in the rear. No one probably makes a 315/40/17 anyway.
