How to tell what gear I have?

Just got a 94GT, and was initially told it had 3.73 installed from the factory or dealer. However, I can't find any evidence of this. Is there a painless and quick way to check what ratio is sitting in the gearbox?

You're suposed to post the answer even if you find out on your own. That way if someone has the same question in the future, they can just search for it.

In the door jam, there is a label with an axle "AX" code. Mine read "E" which is a 3.27 gear ration.

Jack up the rear end

Chalk mark bottom of d shaft and tire

Count the times they turn over and you can see your ratio
