how will the B-cam act over stock?

Well on a tight budget a b cam would be the way to go.. Mobs low run was his 3rd time out i believe. I diddnt break the 13's till my 4th time out and only did it once..

Why go with a b cam on a tight budget? A b cam cost $180, when you can get a TFS1 for $160. And have more performance and a better idle.

My car with that cam and 1.7RR punked out alote of car that would have out ran me.

My 89 has a b cam. Along with that cam, long tube headers, and 3:55 gear I ran a 8.42 w/ nitrous. It does have the problem of wanting to die when you come to a stop but I deal with it for now otherwise its alright until I do some more upgrades.

I have absolutely no complaints with the B-cam. See my sig for dyno results. I consider them to be pretty good for 302 cubic inches and no power adder. I had a surging idle with it, but once it was tuned, that completely went away.

Also, I run shorty headers, O/R H-pipe, and dumped Flowmasters and the sound puts a smile on my face everytime I start the car :)
