I have a 73 351C that is being rebuilt. The rebuilder is using a mild performance cam (duration aprox 270 ex & int; lift aprox 500), crane gold race roller rockers, KB Pistons; all new upgraded hardware, the crank will be balanced; the heads are open chamber 4 BBL (the compression ratio will probably be about 10:1 with the new pistons); the carb is a Holley street avenger 670 CFM dual feed; Edelbrock performer manifold and headers. Would anyone be able to estimate the HP on this motor? Thanks very much.

Welcome to the board! Tihs place is a wealth of knowledge on many topics. There is an unbelievable search engine that goes back a long time, so you can type in a question and see if it has already been covered here. If not, or if you need clarification on something, feel free to post. Now I am not sure about your engine question, so we will wait for someone else on that.

Your building about 400 to 470 hp depends on everything else. I would invest into the funnel web Intank Much better for a 351c. you got a good set of heads make sure you dont port them there allreaddy big enough. Just get them smothend out.
And Welcome to :SNSign:

400+ hp with a mild street cam and a performer intake...

IMHO, you will probably get closer to 330-340 at the crank. The C heads breathe real well at high lift, but the cam is to mild to take full advantage of that, the motor likes to rev (the volume of the ports is large) but the intake is all done before 6000, so there goes that...
And the open chamber heads lack enough squish to really be able to take full advantage of the ignition timing.

But dont get me wrong, it will be a good driveable street motor. Probably get you 14s in the quarter, and run for 100k with no problems. A good motor.

Dont get caught up in all the hype and inflated internet numbers that you see....

Now if you want to get crazy (like go for 450hp) you will need intake, cam, and a little more carb. Again imho.
