hp/tq question

Whats the average hp/tq on the 01 cobras at the rear wheels when stock.. couldnt find it anywhere... and is it possible to catch the 01 vettes with just bolt ons.. i found there info and they werent much off of where the cobras are factory.. like 3-5 tenths faster in the quarter.. just curious if only bolt ons i have a chance in hell of beating my friend.. lol

what sort of times have you seen for the Vette?

A set of 456's, some sticky tires, intake and exhaust bolt ons should do the job if he is stock.

Oh I guess that's if you want to take him in the quarter or run away from him on the highway. The 456's won't do you too good on the highway.

lol.. on the vettes quarter i seen they do about 13.5 for the convertables.. this is a 01 model now not a badass Z06.. so and from what my book says cobra supposed to hit 13.8... but thats i guess gettin it right ..

The Vettes should run a littke quicker than the fbodies, and there are plenty of them running low 13's @ 107mph, even 12.9's totally stock.

Not too sure about the 01 Cobra's. I would reckon that it should be close enough to make it a drivers race as it doesn't take a lot to turn that 13 second car (Corvette) into a 14 second car (a slow gear change, too much wheel, spin.....) with the usual bolt ons it should be possible.

lol the vette is a auto.. so no chance of a bad gear change... but thanks for yalls opinions i guess i have my hands full.. lol
