Hopefully someone can help me here. I have an 02 GT with 74k on it. I've had to replace 2 hub bearings in the past week, both on the front passenger side. they last about a day and then it starts making a nasty grinding noise when i turn left. Any ideas as to why this keeps happening? Anybody else have this problem?

are you buying genuine Ford or aftermarket? did you replace the spindle nut? did you tq the nut to factory specs?

He must have installed defective or used parts... The bearing is not serviceable, is prelubed, and is pretty much just a bolt on. Its not rocket science even I can do it :)

If he does not install the dust cap and you drive through a pool of strong acid mixed with finely powdered carbide I guess it could fail in one day... Could that have happened?

Seriously though, take it to a different shop or DIY.
