I always wanted a 93 Cobra untill I found this.

mehh, i can appreciate the rarity of the special edition, and the fact that it's in pristine, museum-quality condition, but it's just another hatch with a tacky decal kit to me  call me crazy

for the money i'd have a dart based twin turbo 347 or just wedge a pullied 03/04 cobra motor into my coupe :D

I love the rarity of it. True thats is only a hatch. I remember back in the day when the 87 thru 93 mustangs were new and nobody wanted the notch but me. Boy how the worm has turned for the lowly notch. Now it's the Mustang to have. Still it's a awsome car and i love to see all the pre-cobra cobra's. I've seen these in the past but never this nice.

The White/blue one is the only combo I like on those cars, I'm just not too crazy about the side stripe. I think I'd rather have a 90-93 Saleen.

Its funny, you couldn't give away a notch back in the day, now everybody is breaking their neck trying to get one.. go figure.

I always liked the notch. My 1st mustang was a ugly brown and gold notch. My friends dad got him a 92 notch back in 94 but he would drive it. He said "if i wanted a 2 door Fairmont i would have bought one myself." He called it his Fairmont LX. 14 years later he's looking high and low for one just like it. He sold the 92 and got a 83 GT T-top car of all things......:notnice:

I like the car and always wanted one. Thanks for posting the video because I learned alot about the cars. Its interesting to note the first 15 were balenced and blueprinted and made way more power. I cant own that car though cause I would drive it.I would keep it out of bad weather but it would still see the road :nice:

Mmmm...Back in the day I did my new Mustang buying/racing, which would be from 87 to about 91, just as many people coveted notches as hatches. The hatch proved to be easier to launch for me, they plant better. But my buddy Alex like his notch's hookup better, as did my brother with his. Racers on South Chicago were mostly hatches, though you could go to any dealer and dial up whatever 5.0 you wanted. The dealers couldn't keep any 5.0 on the floor, notch or hatch. The big debate was LX vs GT. Guys who didn't know better(and info was sketchy til 87/88) asked, "Why didn't you get the GT?" as though the LX was somehow not in the same league. They learned quickly, though. I sure didn't think nobody wants a hatch now, though. Whenever I intruduce my LX hatch, which I would still never replace with a notch, to another car guy, I hear 1 of 2 responses. "Wow, thats amazing," or the usual,"Want to sell it?" The response, "Its just some hatch with stickers on it":nonono: I don't get it- while this particular specialty car isn't my thing, "just some hatch" could, can, and has, blown the trunk off many a sedan. They ain't faster.

how does my comment "it's just another hatch with a tacky decal kit to me" read as coupes are faster than hatchbacks??? that's not what i meant, nor is it reasonable to interpret that as what i said, you're seeing what you want to see and jumping to conclusions

Boys boys boys. Who cares? Not me, I like ALL mustangs of every year. Some i like more then others but there all cool. Some people like coupes and some like the hatch. I totally disagree that the coupe is a better car for street racing like the myth may have you belive. I think that only go's for road racing. I love the coupe and always have and nothing will change that. My car is a hatch but i don't think any less of it because of that. I have noticed that in the last 3 to 4 years "some" guys think there poop does'nt stink because they have a coupe. I also think it's stupid to think a coupe is faster then a hatch just because it's a coupe. Thats just silly. Drive what you like and don't lisen to people that don't. Sorry i just had to rant

No, man, I was on the phone when I wrote that, with my racing buddy from back in the day, who promptly assured me I was being slighted- but never let me off the phone to think!:nonono: The bastard:mad:! You're dead on right about the car, I was only looking at one part, distracted and stupider than usual! Note to self-put down the phone, and back away!:hail2:

no harm done! i was weary of you firing back and making me look like an idiot actually, haha, you seem to have a lot of knowledge and experience with these cars since before i could probably walk, let alone drive! :nice:

i love mustangs, both coupes and hatchbacks, i currently have a coupe but i'm looking into getting a 4 cyl hatch as a daily right now :D

With all that hardware, I ain't firing anything at that coupasaurus you have, you know what you're doing just fine! Well, maybe with the 86...:DI hafta stop listening to my "friend", he's my IROC buddy from the day, prolly still disgruntled over the rep they developed! Hey, he's also the one who introduced me to my exwife- I'm starting to see a pattern here...

Tub it, chop it, channel it, swap on a Tbird nose and wide body kit, '95 interior and a 2JZ with Naws engine swap :nice:
