Mine are accufab 1.875" non-crimpled, I do not know if that means spl. I have a dual bolt pattern on my heads. Nice.

O.K. Then it's the dual pattern on your heads that allows you to put a bigger tube on without the "pinching"

.875" = 7/8" so you are getting 1 7/8" which are not the spl ones which don't come that big.

Sounds like a good header, I can't wait to see how it fits!! I hope it tucks up nice...they list for 80's through 95...so are these for 94,95's? or are they 1 fits all the years?

I went to the Accufab website and looked at the headers. Are you getting "SPL" stock port location and bolt pattern headers?

This is the problem....you can't get a big tube on with the stock bolt pattern. They have to "Pinch" them at the header flange to get the bolts in.

This man knows what he is talking about

I had to cover a bit of my e ports with my Mac LT's

Yep, AFR's have dual bolt patterns. And my 1 7/8" tubes are a little bigger than the exhaust port.

No Worries My Friend

I had a bit of time to play around with Mike's pull

I've always known how impressive big motors are

When I was a kid ... I had a 428 Cobra Jet

anyway

Mike's combo just blows away
most other ... STREET combos

I even put it up against what I've always considered

A VERY RESPECTABLE 5.0 KB combo

That old saying ... "No Replacement for Displacement"

How True It Is ... Still :Word:
