so from when i did the t5 swap i knew i needed to get a firewall adjuster because the clutch engauged really low. so i jacked the car up, and as i was taking the cable off the clutch fork, the clutch fork came off the ball on the bellhousing. dammit, so now i have to pull the trans to get it back on. boy am i pissed!! and i just got the car back from paint so i can actually drive it and have it look presentable, and now this!! and i still cant figure out the turn signals

dude sorry to hear that. that sux bigtime, but you can prolly knock it out in a few hours and be done with it. get up early saturday morning and be cruising saturday night

Maybe that little clip the goes around the stud is bent or wore out and that's why it came off.

If it comes off that easy you might need a new one.

You should be able to get it back on from underneath the car....I've done it 3 times.

Put more tension on your cable this time.

how did it come "off" if the input shaft goes through the throwout bearing and the fork? you should be able to pop it back on

i was using a pry bar to release tension to get the clutch cable off. and i must have not got it straight on. o well. it should be only like a 3 hour job...
