If I were to get the tfs cam, (help me out here I have never done a cam install) what all needs to be moved, do the heads have to come off for the install?? are professional installs and tunes spendy?? what kinda power can I make with what I got and the stock heads with the stage 1 cam??

you've got to be kidding that no one has an answer to these questions...Also will there be any clearance issues (assuming not)? And can the stock springs and rockers and all that be used (what is needed besides just the two shafts)?

Cam swap without head swap is kind of pointless IMO. Would make more sense to wait & do both @ the same time. Not going to see alot of power w/ just a cam swap.

I have a TFS 1 cam. Nice power from 2500-5800 rpm, good idle, & streetability. Should not have any issues with the cam.

No you don't have to take the heads off, but you will need to take off the lower intake b/c of the lifters.

Heads!!!

I dont know if you do heads, you are already right there...might as well take the extra few hours and about $200-300 and do the cam too...

then you can say you have a H/C/I car, not just a H/I :nice:

I'm probably gonna have to stop modding after that...just want a consistent 13 second car..

If this is truly your goal then I would not even think about a cam and especially if the Stang is your dd.

You should be able to hit 13's with stock heads and cam.

Forget the motor hp thing cause you got enough upgraded parts now for the hp to reach your goal.

Focus on getting your 60 foot times down and you will see your goal happen.
