Resolved - I can not remove the cover of the timing chain

I have a leak between the cover of Timing chain and the engine block, I want to remove the cover and change the seals, and Removable fan, pulley, water pump, damper, screws and seal the shaft I did backwards, but I can not remove the cover, only separates the top of cover of timing chain.

There are two dowels on the bottom at each side of the cover. They are a tight fit to begin with. You'll have to pry both sides equally... this should make it easier, but still difficult.

This is the problem, you can see it in the picture.

There are 4 bolts that come up through the oil pan into the bottom of the timing cover.

I do'nt see the 4 bolts, I have already removed 6 of oil pan.
Other question, in a chart of timing chain cover, relates to RTCF-351RF with Reverse rotation water pump and serpentine belt, is a 351 engine?

Some times, because of the dowels, capilary attraction and the fact the oil pan pushes up tight to the bottom of the timing cover, not only do you have to remove the 4 oil pan bolts but loosen both rails a bit. Then judiciously tap/rap the timing cover w/a rubber mallet of small dead blow hammer. You might have to give a little pry but please confirm all the retaining bolts are out including those behind the water pump flange which I couldn't see in your pics.
Hope this helps, goodluck.

Well, that cover doesn't look like mine.
If that's the part number on your cover... a 351W has a higher (9.5") deck height, so I wouldn't think it could fit an 8.2" deck.
The timing cover actually does work on both the 302 and 351W blocks. The critical distance is from the crank centerline to the cam centerline, which is the same on both engines. You could take a 302 and put a 2 inch taller deck on it (in theory)and it would not change the block where the timing cover bolts on. The camshafts interchange, but because of the taller deck, the distributor has to be taller and the intake manifold has to be wider. You can even swap cylinder heads from a 289 to a 351W if you drill out the head bolt holes to accept the 1/2 head bolts.

He has the pan bolts and the rest of 'em from what I can see. It looks like someone siliconed the hell out the curved area where the pan and cover meet...That stuff can stick things together and make it hard to seperate.

Also make sure you have the top two bolts behind the water pump nounting surface out, as has been mentioned.
