Im reading this print off of how to set your idle right and correct it.

One of the steps it says

"Disconnect air cleaner hose."

next step is

"Block off the orifice in the throttle plate temporarily with tape. If the orifice already has a plug from previous service go to step f."

anyone get any of that?!?!?!?!

Pull off the CAI and stick a rag in the throttle body opening so you don't get crap in the engine.

but this is just for adjusting your idle, messing with the stop screws etc I dont see why u would have to do that but thats what I thought it ment.

might be for blocking off the IAC bore - instead of disconnecting the elec connector like we often do instead.
