I've had a recent string of bad luck this month...

  • Lost job due to unprofessional/uneducated managers who fail at life
  • Got hired on to due government work, they cut me the next day due to funding
  • Never received the pay from the day I worked for teh government
  • Clutch went out on the Stang leaving me stranded in teh intersection
  • Burnt both hands trying to adjust clutch cable d'oh
  • Invested countless hours interviewing for a company who later rejected me
  • Had to push car home, to stubborn to get help. My fault there

Finally when I'm awaiting the next thing to go wrong in my life, I get hired on to company I really wanted to work for. The pay is slightly less than what I'm making, however I'm receiving amazing benefits including retirement which I did not have with the prior company. Which brings me to even greater news, which finally hits me..... My new jobs is in the city, I can walk a few hundred meters from my house, ride the train into the city, and it stops less than a block from my new office. My company will pay for most of my train pass per month.

So, no more driving the mustang unless it's nice out or I just plain want to. So, now I don't have to worry about starting a project and having to rush to get it back on the road to drive. And I'll be able to still buy another truck as planned after this summer.

Cliff Notes: Bad month, lost job, got better job, mustang is going into teh garage to be a garage queen, teh end.

Those bastages.

This will give me the chance to really redo the interior and have my my friend come over and help me do a chit load of the project.

Sweet man! There is nothing wrong with having a garage queen.
When I first bought my Stang, I didn't have a garage and hated when it rained. Now I have a garage and it stays nice and clean. Garages FTW!

Cool man. You can also save on the ass-gouging gas prices. I just filled my Mustang for 54 bucks. I remember 22-30 dollars filled it depending on what year it was and how much I pumped. Now 22-30 dollars gets me about half a tank. What a joke!

Congrats on the job and landing it close to work!:nice:

Until you trip stepping on to the train, break your foot and have to drive to work because you can't walk. :shrug:Then your foot gets caught between the gas and break pedal because your not used to the cast and you plow over some old lady crossing the street. Now your going to jail and have no car to put into your garage because it's a murder weapon and the cops took it.!

Congrats?

you'll end up in a tricked out accord
STFU yous :fuss:

Nice turn-around. And now you have your very own garage queen.
Thanks Mang
