So. It can be done. Very easily. My combo is....Stock type convertible engine mounts. Eddy supper vic jr efi lower with eddy 3848 upper elbow. I had to space the elbow about 3/16ths or so to clear the damn fuel rails. Had to do some minor cutting on the elbow on top to get rid of casting/holes not used for Mustangs. Then I had to clearance the front side of the flange for the iac motor. I did have to make throttle cable mount b/c eddy was to dumb to cast it in on this elbow.. We had to remove the under liner and cut out about 6 inches of bracing on the hood right above the elbow. It has about 1.5 inches of clearance under there. So real sneaky to the unsuspecting........ Just wanted to post this for others to find b/c I know I was worried as hell trying to figure out if it was going to fit.

On a side note, the EFI Spyder Elbow from CHP....Required a 4 inch cobra R hood, and barely cleared that....So I am much happier with the eddy piece. Looks better too.... It does have some fitment issues with the c&l pipe but think some more minor grinding there and I will be ok.

I'd take pics but I have one head off b/c patriot perf heads are chit and they already cracked on me.. (1500 miles). But thats another story for another thread. Will take some reference pics when I get it back together if someone is interested.

wow, already had a head crack on ya? I'd hope that they make good on that, its definately a quality control problem at that point unless ya overheated the living **** out of it but I'm thinkin it would warp before cracking being aluminum and what not
