I fixed it!!!!

Well, some of you may have read and commented on my previous post concerning the spark plug that decided to vacate the head. Well, my local engine/machine shop sugested a kit that is designed for just such a situation. It was simple to use and works. The car is alive and well, and runs much better. Amazing how having the spark plug in the right place helps performance. The kit contains a tap with two diferent diameters of threads, the first to pull the tap through the hole and the second to cut the bigger hole. Also included is several sizes of sleeves depending on the length of the plug required and a pin that is used to swedge the top of the sleeve out to lock it into the head and create the bevel the plug will sit in. We were also able to leave the head on the car and kept all shavings out of the cyclinder. Just fill the tap full of axle grease and your good to go. Anyway, just wanted to thank you guys for your advice and let you know that we brought this one back form the dead.:nice:
