Well i finally got a cobra. Its a 94 with 38,000 original miles (proven with car fax report) (1 owner) , black on tan, i thought the car was bone stock since it was owned by an elderly man but it has a ford racing supercharger (powerdyne), bassani cat-back (a little quiet for my taste but still has the baffles in and the car also has a catted midpipe, and it has a steeda sway bar. I dont know if the car has gears but 1st gear is pretty useless. How can i tell if the car has gears?

I actually was looking for a bone stock car but i could not pass up the 38000 miles, 94-95 cobras are just becoming too hard to find.

why dont i find stuff like that. nice pick up

you could do the wheel turn vs DS turn method for figuring out the gear ratio. or there are some calculators that go backwards.

now all you need to do is get that supercharger off of there and put on a vortech, paxton, procharger, etc.

awesome deal though. i paid 6k flat for my car with a new paint job, gears, differential, axles, and 53k on the clock. but mine is just a GT

I really havent heard too many good things about the powerdynes but i can always put the 2.93 pulley on there and up the psi to 9 but im kinda risking the head gaskets and i don't think the powerdyne unit would we too reliable with that setup. Im thinking of just focusing on an h/c/i deal and going from there just to keep things reliable.

I don't see any in your sig bud. A powerdyne is quiet and reliable at 6lbs too. Beats not having one.

even if i did have one, id be too embarassed to flaunt it. although, joining the club of the 2 people with pride to show it off....no thanks. and what makes you think i can afford one? i guess i cant expect you to gather anything from the name due to your free will at buying a powerdyne....

Congrats on the new ride. Sounds pretty sweet to me. Dont worry about what anyone says about your powerdyne. Sure its not the baddest s/c out there but at least you got one.

actually, im not hating at all. i made a simple joke about the s/c since it gets such bad reviews and someone tried to turn it into a pissing contest. and as far as jealousy goes, im jealous im not finacially stable like the rest of you grown ass men, thats about it.

but off of a bad note, you got a steal on that car. riding in a supercharged car, no matter which s/c it is, is fun. i love cruising with my dad in his 03 cobra
