I've worked parts for 3 years and completed an auto program and I goofed off all summer. Now its time to get serious and work regular hours.

I start as a tech on thursday so if anybody needs service info let me know.

*defined as any factory hi-perf, or owner modified hot rod, loosely anything that goes FAST

A friend works there and I helped him pull the trans from an '05 with 400 miles. I can't believe I will be getting paid that much to work on stuff like that.

Im sure the owner would love to know your beating the crap out of their 05. Might be a short lived job if you keep that up.
Some guy on svtperformance got fired because the bragged about how he got to dog an 03 cobra. It wasn't the smartest thing to do since the owner was a member of the board

Yeah, plus after about the 200th front end rebuild on a newer F250 because of Ford piss poor bearing design will have you screaming bloody murder.

I would agree with you. However, in this case the owner was riding with me.

Actually I learned alot about warranty work. If I was busting good and turning good hours, shortly after mid-day I get loaded up with the crappy warranty work.

well we dog Mercedes Benz around all day... we get yelled at by the service mgr for doing road tests on the SL's for brake noise at high speed (no kidding seen it on a Repair Order)" Customer States brackes squeel at hard stop from high speeds- check and advise", another one was "Customer States rear tire wear is uneven to front - replace rear tires and report" Oddly enough it was a 500hp SL55, it was a $500 for rear tires. I noticed they had some tread still on em, but when i returned from the road test there was none left those things do the craziest burnouts when you put traction control in dyno mode....
