well its not all mine it's really for the wife but i still get to drive it

sorry for the crappy pics it is dark and my camera wont do any better. i'll post better ones tomorrow

VTEC baby!!!

and a few stang pics too.this is my car and my buddys KB GT

and heres my $125 Olds eighty eight

its our first new car. it is a 2007 Honda Accord EX-L it has basically everything but navigation. sticker was 26500 and we paid 25000 for it. we did have some negative equity in out 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee, but the tranny was on its last legs ( i was scared it wouldnt make it to the dealer) and i didnt want to replace it so we traded it in and only lost $2000. not too bad considering we didnt even own that POS 10 months! so what do you guys think??
am i a traitor for gong to the import side??

Well, I personally think when you have a family to think about, "going to the dark side" doesn't matter.

I got flamed bigtime for buying a Kia Sedona, but ****, I have a family, which is infinately more important to me than what brand car I own is. And frankly, I say "**** you you ****in' ****s" to anyone who flames a family man for buying an import. If the american auto manufacturers would get on the ball, and make a reliable vehicle with a good warranty for a reasonable price, you'd see more guys buying american family mobiles. My Sedona cost me 19k fully loaded. An equivalently equipped american van (dodge grand caravan) would've cost me 30.

I think if it's reliable, it fits your family, and you got a deal you're happy with, you should be happy.

I owned 2 Accords back in the 90's (an 87 and a 91) and I loved both of them. Great buy dude. How come it has 499 miles on it?

Those are great cars.....even for $2500 ;-) You seemed to have gotten lucky with your Jeep, a good buddy of mine went upside down by $5k to get rid of theirs. Have fun with the Accord....def. a nice ride!

I LOOOOOVVEEE the new Accords, they're beautiful!! Those new Hondas are soooo much nicer than anything Ford or Chebby has put out lately.. They may not be as "fast," but they sure kick the crap out of them in the reliability category.. You made a wise choice, my friend!

What Chevy or Ford family sedan could keep up with a V6 Accord? Certainly not a Fusion or an Malibu.

Sorry but GM Sedan selection sucks, the Fusion would be great with an optional 250-260hp V6 to compete in the market place.

we were originally going to buy an 07 camry SE. i went to the dealer last wed and they offered me $4800 for my Jeep. the total for the camry and the neg equity in my jeep they wanted to charge me $31,000. i walked out and they didnt even call me back. so i went to the honda place yesterday and 4 hours later we walked out with a new car

i was only going to buy a toyota or camry b/c american sedans are so crappy when you compare them to the imports. i have seen VERY FEW american cars run over 200k with the stock engine and tranny. i am hoping to get at least 250k on this car before we have any major problems.

Great looking car man! But why the V tec? Im sure she wouldnt have even missed it and you could have saved a bit of $ lol. However you have spent alot on your car...guess its only fair

Again, VERY nice car...and when you buy a family car it doesnt matter what you buy. You buy the car for longevity .
Does it have a 100,000 mile warrenty?

i thought they all came with Vtec now. as far as the warrenty goes i'm not really sure. the salesman went over all the details with my wife when she took it in this morning to get cleaned. i had to work till 4 so i couldnt go.

i'm ready to test out the power. it still only has 600 miles so i dont wanna lay into it too much yet. we havent even felt the vtec kick in yet. i drove it for the first time to dinner tonight and all i can say is WOW! it rides better than a cadillac! its sooooo smoothe and has more than enough power to hang with almost anything on the interstate. i caught myself doing 90 a few times. it feels strong and i havent even kicked it yet!! i cant wait to get a few more miles on it so i can open her up. to be honest i would LOVE to have one myself for a DD b/c of the ride quality.

anyways it is headed to the tint shop on monday to get ceramic coated 15% all around. i got a pretty good deal i think. $220 all the way around with a strip on the windsheild. once the windows get blackened i think it will look a lot better. we had actually decided on a carbon grey metallic accord and then the wifey changed her mind right before we signed the papers. i just wish i could have gotten a black interior, otherwise i am in love with this car!
