I got KDW2s!

Well I got what was most important first, just 295/35/18s for the rear. soon I will get the fronts, probably 275. Anywho, they hook like a dream! It has been raining all day and probably will throughout the week.. but an amazing improvement over my nitto nt555s.Going uphill in 2nd gear isnt so scary anymore haha, I can give plenty of throttle and I still stay pointed upwards! haha. Anywho I cant wait to get the fronts and test out the dry handling, Im sure I am in for a treat. sorry about pic quality, due to cell phone camera.

I would get 255's on the front. With my 255's on the front they will "carve" out a dry spot for my 295's so they won't hydroplane as bad. My rear end picks up a lot less with my 255/295 combo then my 275's all the way around. Only issue I had with 255's up front was they're 10x more responsive than 275's. You can swerve quicker if you need to and still maintain control.

I love my KDW2's! They're the best tire I've owned so far. I was coming home from work last night in the rain doing 70-75. In my KDW1's I couldn't hit over 60.

I'm so torn between DRs and KDW2s. I like that if i get caught in rain the KDWs are great, but I really want traction. My pilot sports are totally inadequate, particularly when cold. I dont ever drive on wet days on purpose, but sometimes i get caught out. I think I'm still leaning toward the DRs...

yeah 300 tread wear rating on the KDW's FTW, the make no noise on the freeway for me

Mine do. My back ones being a 295 roar, now howl, like crazy. For the longest time I thought it was exhaust drone. Turns out it wasn't.

I would think that ALL tires will do poorly for hooking up in the cold. Think about it, what's the point of the burnout?
