ok i got an autogage tach made by auto meter whats the easy way to hook it up. ? #2 im having a hard time at the local auto part stores and cant get heater hoses is there a way to just cap it off and deleate it all together if so how do i do it.

first you got post in the tech section.

second - yes you can delete your heat. don't need it? and you can't get hoses? you can buy rubber caps and bypass kits

i dont need my heat lol its 100+ out rite now lol and when winter hits ill wear a jaket lol, as for the houses autozone dont got them the one they do got in there system are wrong, i even took mine in and they dont got jack same a pepboys, and online i could buy the whole kit, but the others are new so its a waste of money to me. now with the ruber kaps, where could i find thease, and do i put hose clamps on them?

most places should have the caps they are usually in the "help" section. if you are going to keep the coolant rail on the lower intake you'll have to loop it with a hose at the back of the rail. So obviously if you don't have a good hose to use you've kinda defeated the point of not buying the right ones.

If you delete the coolant rail you use a cap to block off the one fitting from your water pump to the rail and two caps on the heater core to keep crap out of it. And yes you would need hose clamps. You'll need a reducer bushing for the coolant sensor though once you pull the rail. Can't remember sizes right now, you might have to do a search

Hose

I ran across a hose that reduces to the smaller rail lucky for me it was just sittin on the counter at autozone. I might have the hose number if i find it i list it.
