Depending on how soft of a compund the bolt is ...you may can try and get a rotory tool such as a dremel and put a notch in the broken bolt and turn it out with a flat head screw me driver ...sometimes it works and sometimes the bolt is to soft to turn with a screw driver after wards...

did you use PB blaster? I know people that never had problems with the bolt besides it being a little hard to take off. But if you let PB blaster set in for about a half hour, you should be good to go.. Im assuming your talking about the "infamous" passenger side ehader bolt thats hard tor each?

you can...drill a hole through the bolt and try getting it out that way..or if u can even reach it and if its on a lift you an torch it to death(red hot) and try to back it out with the dremel+screwdriver method.....heating it up that hot will get the gunk and crap to losen up a bit...thats how i got mine off,,,,just be careful.... a (:flame: + + car) = ( :fuss: :jaw: )

easy out wont work? A good easy out kit is 30 bucks do it yourself.
:stupid: Try easy outs :nice: it is the driver side if he is taking the manifold bolts off for SLP exhaust. Flaten the head of the broken bolt with a dremel or air tool then drill through dead center of bolt and use an easy out.

this is why i always have a torch around or if i am at home a MAPP gas plumbers torch. my rule of thumb on manifold bolts and other exhaust bolts.. if it wont turn by hand heat it.

i take offense about your bigger idiot that you line.. are you trying too say us pro mechanics are idiots?

haahah no....they are idiots becuase they are taking my money....it just makes me feel better to say it :bang:

bummer! atleast one didn't just fall out on you going down the road like i did. I thought i had a crazy exhaust leak and it turns out one of the manifold to xpipe bolts fell out. wasn't too hard to fix. sometimes you just have to take it to the shop...
