I have a pretty crazy theory about whats going on. ( may be long)

Basically, I reciently found out that radicle muslims (including the president of iran) believe in a guy called the "ahade" (sp). This guy is supposed to come on the scene and bring world peace and have all the answers (really what is described as the anti christ in the Bible). The iranian presedent is claiming that he will be the one to ussure him in to the world scene.

Now here is the crazy part....these guys belive that it is possable to HASTEN his coming. they say that if they cause caos, and world issues (attack on twin towers, wanting to destroy israel, ect), that that will cause this guy to show up faster so he can fix all the worlds problems! (that they are creating really haha)

So it is known that karons (sp) have been found on the mexican/american border. IMO they are collaberating with the mexans, and getting on their side. What this does as MILLIONS of mexicans come into america, they have all these people that DONT like americas government...and people that dont care at all about america.

Now the arab people are coming over too, and buying all of the stores, and big corporations. What I PERSONALLY believe they will do is ALL call GIHAD (sp) on one day. They will shut down all of their owned buisnesses, mexans will start rioting, they may even start attacking anyone approaching their stores, remote nuclear devices, ect....this will bring america to its knees and shut down our economy. Thus leaving us WIDEOPEN for attack, from say china (were they to be teamed up) or iran itself.

I know it sounds crazy lol, but think about it....they could do it. These guys arent dumb....and they hate america/americans. I just see too many of these irans buying up everything...muslim mosks EVERYWHERE...and orginazations that help all these irans buy their own stores. They arent doing this just for kicks lol.
It would really be a perfect plan that we couldnt recover from.... (no im not insane...and this is MY take on everything. Im not saying that this is whats happening.)

All of you computer gurus are in for a really rude awakening here. This country's job market is really bad. There are many computer companies that are hiring, but they are hiring at really LOW wages because there are hoards of college graduates who are looking for the same jobs. I remember back 8 years ago before the dot com bust when people in computers were making really high salaries. The good times are all over boys. You will be lucky if you can find a $40,000-$50,000 a year job in computers nowadays. Globalization has caused the computer labor market to go into the tank. Another reason is the influx of "green card" Indians and Chinese from India and China. These people are being shipped into the United States from India and China to take the place of the American worker.

The only thing good about all this is that all of you computer people are being paid what you are really worth just like the rest of the Americans in the labor market. Back 8 years ago, you were all making too much money ($60,000-$200,000) just because you had a measly computer degree. Right now, your salaries are exactly where they should be. Thank God for the burst in the computer bubble.
Let me give you all a word of advice: STOP COMPLAINING. If you want to make more money go start your own business. There's nothing better and rewarding than owning your own business and working for yourself. NOBODY is going to reward you if you work for somebody else. Get this thru your heads. The ONLY way that you will be able to make decent money nowadays is if you start your own business and if you struggle to build your own business in order to make some good money. Nothing comes easy, especially to people like you who were overpaid during the 1990's just because you had a stupid computer degree. The burst in the computer bubble has down the salaries of computer jobs to where they should be. You were all being overpaid during the computer boom. Now most of you are making what you should be making just like the rest of the people in this country. Live with it. If you don't like it, then have the balls to start your own business and stop complaining.

Please don't get me wrong here. I am not bitter. I just believe that a lot of the computer nerds that had the cushy high tech computer jobs were being "overpaid" during the dot com boom. That's all. Whoever heard of a computer nerd making $70,000-$200,000 right away out of college or with very little experience in the high tech computer field during the dot com boom? There were a lot of these types of people out there in the high tech computer industry 8 and 10 years ago who were NOT worth the high salaries that they were all being paid. They were making too much money while the rest of the people in other industries were making only $30,000-$45,000. There was a "salary imbalance" and a huge "gap" in the salaries of computer nerds if compared to the other white collar professional non-computer jobs all thruout the 1990's and early 2000's. Right now things are all equal and the computer nerds are making the same level salaries as most of the other white collar professional non-computer jobs. Back 8 and 10 years ago, this was not the case. Computer nerds were being overpaid. Thank God that the Dot Com bubble burst. The salaries of computer high tech jobs are now where they are supposed to be.

I do believe in some of the things that you are saying in your post, but I think that globalization together with the supression of the economy by big banks and by the new world order is what's going to ruin things for everyone here in America and in the rest of the world. When this happpens, there will be mass poverty and chaos and this is when the Anti-Christ will come out of hiding. Who the Anti-Christ will be we don't know yet. It could be anybody from anywhere around the world. This is a mystery right now.

I think you sound a bit bitter here as well... but if you say you aren't than so be it. I'm not going to argue that point. It almost sounds like you were a jock in highschool and got pissed when you found out the guys you beat up on in highschool made more money than you and wound up marrying WAY hotter women. I do agree however that computer people got overpaid back in the 90s. Now, the job market is scaled in such a manner where skill, experience, and certifications pays the most. I make way more than your proposed 40k a year figure, but I busted my butt to get where I am today and have the experience to back my salary up I do think that the computer market overall pays REALLY well for the elite. Six-figure-plus salaries is not hard to get if you play your cards right in the computer field

The Mexicans i used to work with were definately not stupid. Most had a thirst for knowledge and could not get enough of American culture. They also picked up English easily. I believe the Mexicans who migrated up to my area (NJ/PA) are more apt to be solely here for work and not just to take advantage of the system. It is the ones who come over and plop in a border town and have kids so they can abuse the system i have problems with.

i am a network design engineer for a gaming company in Las Vegas... I applied online... they flew me out here for an interview and offered me GREAT money to move out here.

I think you are looking in the wrong spots. Las Vegas has a shortage of people for jobs, especially in the computer/tech area. Pay is VERY good here too b/c so many people come and go here so they pay well to keep people in the town.

Colorado is not too far off either just so you know. Give it a shot.

Second, I'm hispanic (portuguese) so this is really not about the white male but the American educated male.

Aggie... I just moved away from Vegas last year after living there for 15 years. The jobs for me were drying up there. And the housing market was so hot that I doubled my money on my house. Plus I got divorced and don't want to run into the ex ever again.

I can't move to somewhere else just for the money. As Greg said, I'm an old fart and I grew up here. So I came back here to retire and die here. Besides, Colorado has some of the horniest women with big titties than any other place I've ever lived. My girlfriend is a prime example of that.

I'm going to finish reading the rest of the posts now. I was afraid I sounded pretty bad when I started the thread cause I was pissed and on my way to getting drunk.

Check this out... I "rescinded" my application with this company and they came back with a sweeter offer. I'm going to take it.

First of all, I've been in the industry for awhile. I'm not fresh out of college. Second of all, IT and computer programming is a vast field with MANY specific trades. I am VERY specialized in what I do. A fresh college grad cannot come close to doing what I do. You can't learn the business world in school... only the tools. The programs I write make HUGE money for the petroleum company I work for and the Vegas Casinos I used to work for. When you do anything in a Vegas casino, you can bet my software is tracking you at all levels. I'm well worth my wage that borderlines six figures.

My complaint is with the big companies that grew big because of American sweat and then now that they are huge, they bail on the people that put them where they are. Just today Washington Mutual (a large mortgage company) announced that it is closing three American call centers and moving them to India...

And btw guys... eventhough I'm hispanic, I was born in North Carolina (when my dad was a Special Forces Ranger, "Green Beret") and I don't speak spanish. My dad was legal. And so was my grandfather and great grandfather. I am all for curbing the ILLEGAL crossing into our country but support legal immigration.

Also... all those .Com guys were not advanced professionals. Anyone can make a website. It's the business that runs behind it that is the real challenge.

I write business applications for some large businesses in the States. I currently work at a petroleum company that rivals the services of Enron (before the scandel). but I get no discounts on gas

India's government is paying for their nationals to become college educated BUT they have no jobs for them... so what do they do...? Send them to America to take our jobs back there. I'll have to tell you about a conversation I accidently overheard the other day between my Indian boss and a new permanent Indian employee the other day. In a nutshell, they are trying to learn our complex (and I mean COMPLEX) business so they can relocate our shop to India. Morgan/Stanley is trying to buy us right now and I hope if they do they kill off our Indian IT shop.

I won't move but I may start selling cars...
