This mainly happenes in 2 gear like when im turning a corner or something. after i let off the clutch and hit the gas it takes a couple of seconds for it "kick in" i dont know if that is really a good explantion but some of you out there might know what im talking about.. thanks

his is an '89 so just the four plugs. And his sig says CAI and no cats.
So have you given the car a tuneup? New plugs, wires, dis cap, rotor button, adjusted the timing, clean air filter, fuel filter? I'd also try advancing the timing to 12-14 degree's. This will liven it up about as much as you could ever get out of it. As long as it doesn't ping, you've got the timing about max. If it pings at 14 bring it back a notch until the pings gone.

is it an auto? if so the slush box will definatly be one of the problems. Aside from that, if its a serious dead spot, not just your motor not being able to get outta its own way, It could be any number of things. Fuel delivery, timing, I even saw a car once, with a bare wire that would brush up against the fender well and shut the car off when you turned right..... try trouble shooting that.
Your sig says no cats, and aftermarket mufflers, if you have too wide open of an exhust, the gases wont pull themselves from the bore and your car wont acclerate either.

It's a 5 speed, see sig.

He can go w/ a long tube header, 2.5" tubing w/ duals or a dump and that still not be a problem. He's a long way from that. Although running w/ no exhaust manifold or header whatsoever could cause the problem you are describing.
