Ale me hardy!...you forgot your rum Captain
HAHA well I work 2nd shift and cant sleep when I get home...Well you can never tell if someone takes offense. All I had to go by was the time your reply was made (3:03 AM).
Now I don't know about you, but if I go on a rant at 3:03 AM,...............no one is safe.irate:
I think that aerospace kit will be the route I go!What setup did you use?
i see no reason to do a 5 lug conversion unless ur gunna auto cross ur car..i did the conversion and i dont stop any better than i did with 4 lug.
I'm betting Lincoln/Ranger rotors,.....there would be no difference. They're the same as what he had on it before. And,....That's the only way there'd be no difference.kinda curious here-if you noticed NO improvement with a 5 lug swap-what parts did you use?
Then be sure to talk to him about their 2 piston "sliding" caliper, instead of the 4 piston piece pictured. Otherwise, the tires will sit 3/4" wider than they do presently, and look fckd up as a rats' ass. (I used the 2 piston version on the 95mm turbo car I last built)I think that aerospace kit will be the route I go!
used sn95 front everything and aerostar axles and drums.kinda curious here-if you noticed NO improvement with a 5 lug swap-what parts did you use?

feel..i did the conversion so i had more rim options..not for brakeing.. i drive my car very hard and stop very hard and i know my car well. So i know for a fact that it doesnt make a difference.Yeah, kinda what I was thinkin'...
If you used SN95 front and noticed no difference at all, then there's probably something wrong-did you actually measure out stopping distance, or are you just going off "feel"? Besides, if you're still using rear drums, just what all are you expecting to achieve? The fronts do about 70% of your braking, but they can't do it all by themselves...
did you use dual piston pbrs? i mean my 89 and my 93 stop like a wet dog compared to my 00gt which would stop on a dime so im just a little curious.. did you use the right booster and master as well..?feel..i did the conversion so i had more rim options..not for brakeing.. i drive my car very hard and stop very hard and i know my car well.
