you know that's not street legal right? I think it's over a 4" cowl and it impedes vision from drivers seat enough to be illegal in most states.
I do like it though

I et you can't see s**t with that hood, actually I know you can't I've been in cars with that big of a hood.
Actually my runs around mid to low 13's with street tires. I need a nice drag set up so I don't spin in 1st, second, and bark em' in 3rd. Thanks d98gt for posting them. The hood is actually fine, I can see fine. It is not illegal, funny thing is I have a few cops that come into where I work, and I asked them if it was legal or not. They all told me that around where live it's legit. I'm awaitng my tax return, and hopefully I will have enough money for a blower. The ysame guy who I bought the hood from, has a performance shop and I'll go to him and get a nice deal. Most say it looks completely evil and "just plain not right" as one of my co-workers said.

Hood looks sick , you outta murder that thing out now. Get some nice black saleens , and tint the head/tail lights and side reflectors.

I'm in FL too and just wanted to know who you picked the hood up from? I think with some black rims the car would look sick man!

I don't listen to stupid latino songs that all have the same beat, and I don't believe that adding sticker to my car will add horsepower, or any type of Japaneese writing, mixed with different colored body parts that obviously doesn't belong on the car. And I bought it from a guy who has a shop down in Pinellas Park, P.M. me and I'll get you his info, I know he had another hood for it, but it was white.

I got a hood from the Cincinati place on ebay and it was fine for what I paid for it. It wasnt perfect and I went to pick it up so no shipping hassles. I didnt use the hood latch though, just hood pins because it wasnt fitting tight. Could have adjusted the latch but didnt mess with it.

I understand, but since I view ricers as being below toxic scum and bacteria, It was a huge insult. I don't hang out with anybody who drives anything made by the japaneese, and I believe people who drive them are UN-AMERICAN.
In anycase, I have a blower in the works, as well as my engine has been built( minus cams...waitng to buy some FI cams) and of course I've got most of the bolt on's available. Considering all of that, the whol reason I got the hood was becasue I needed one bad, and this one was cheap, already painted, and local. I bought it and had it on my car in less than a day. I took some day time pics, and I will post them hopefully tomorrow.

Anyway if the OP is going to back up the cowl with some power, who cares... I think it looks good, and once it pushes some more horses all you guys will have to decide what an acceptable cowl rise to HP ratio is...
