Oh man im hot! Just got a letter from the dmv.they siad i must have the state install an interlock device on my car before i get my lic back next month! Im required to take random breathalizers while im driving! If i refuse to pull over and blow my horn will honk and my lights will go off until i pull over and blow! Oh man,i know i did it to myself but what if im road racing at pir? Pull over on the road coarse and blow? Im so angry i could drink!I must have the interlock for 2 years,one year for each DUII

I fantasize about buying a beater and having them install the interlock and park it.lol.The device records everytime i start my car so i figure drive it to 7-11 once a week? Oh and i would register the stang in my girls or sisters name,hehe im so sneaky,unless dmv or state officials are here at stangnet.In that case im a hacker and in no way affiliated with stangnet or Humboldt5.0.

If i must get the interlock on a car to get my lic, i wonder how can they get upset if im caught driving another persons car? As long as i have a vald Drivers LIC. What i can drive any car but my own? Questions Questions

I don't know about Oregon, but in IL, your license is valid only to drive the vehicle the interlock device is installed in. If you're caught driving any other vehicle, you're charged with driving on a suspended license, or violating a court order. Either way, it's not worth the hassle, IMO. How long do you have to have it installed for? It's like 9 months in IL.

Unless you want to spend some quality time in the Multnomah County jail, don't even think about it. If you do what you're talking about and get stopped for having a tail light out, you're going directly to jail. They aren't messing around here. Obviously, you've got a problem. As far as road racing, I would imagine the only way you'll get around it is if you register your Mustang as an "Off Road" Vehicle and only use it at sanctioned track events. Besides....what's the worst that could happen? So what if you look like a fool driving down the track with your horn blowing and your lights flashing. It's just a road race. Besided, you could always disable them (the horn and lights) for the race itself and then enable them again when its time to take the drive home?

You're lucky the state will still allow you to drive and that you didn't kill anyone being so foolish. It's people like you that I have to watch for when I'm out there on the road.

Hopefully PIR wont let you on the track, because I sure as hell don't want to be on the track with you.
