Looking for a Oil filter adapter F8ZZ6881AA for a 2004 Ford Mustang Cobra 4.6l supercharged engine. I would be willing pay to have a machine shop make one. Yes I’m desperate. Right now the car is a nice looking paperweight .
Does your car have an oil cooler? If so, which part are you looking for? Note, it does come in two parts. The part that bolts to the block is the same as used for a 4.6 SOHC 4.6. The oil cooler part bolts onto this part. There's an O-ring between them. This O-ring frequently leaks. So if the problem is leaking there's a high likely hood that a new O-ring and oil filter adapter gasket will fix you up.
Exactly what is wrong with the part that you have? Because if your car does not have an oil cooler it sure looks like to me that any oil filter adapter from a SOHC 4.6 Romeo could be used.
